Representative Kathleen Cates and two of her Democratic colleagues are sponsoring Freedom to Read bills in the current 30-day state legislative session. But these bills will not be considered unless Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham places them on the legislative agenda. The Governor’s office has extended an invitation for the coalition at large to prove that library censorship is a current and ongoing issue in our state.
