Rep. Cates is organizing her first ever Animal Food Drive, which begins Nov. 14 and runs until Dec. 19. This drive will help struggling families to keep their pets fed and healthy, while their own food benefits being cut by the Federal government’s leadership.
Donations will be distributed by the CARMA pet food pantry in Corrales, Penny Lane Foal Rescue, Watermelon Mountain Ranch, and the Corrales Animal Shelter.
Donations such as unopened canned or dry pet food, horse feed, and treats are welcomed.
The drive also welcomes nonperishables for all domestic animals: clean, gently used dog or cat beds, towels, blankets, litter, training pads, bowls, leashes, harnesses/collars, cleaning products, crates, or toys.
Items can be dropped off during business hours at these locations:
