Kathleen joined with others last April at the Rio Rancho Governing Council meeting to support our local libraries and our right to read what we want. A right-wing hate group threatened (and continues to threaten) to remove all books with LGBT topics from public libraries. Reason and freedom prevailed thanks to a large turnout of citizens, but the group continues to agitate for their demands.
