Sandoval Democrats gathered together in August to support their candidates and elected officials. After speaking to the assembly, Kathleen visited and conferred with fellow candidates, officials, and supporters. The New Mexico Library Association (NMLA) honored Kathleen with their Legislator of the Year Award (made by Acoma artist Sherry L Aragon) for her work as a citizen and legislator supporting New Mexico’s public libraries.
